Neal F. Perryman, a member of Lewis, Rice & Fingersh, has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) for his ethical reputation, effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation and trial work.
Mr. Perryman’s law practice focuses on matters related to labor & employment, ERISA litigation, appellate practice and commercial litigation. He defends employers and management in personnel related disputes and has successfully represented employers and ERISA plans in class actions, including a recent summary judgment for an employer-sponsored plan in a cash-balance ERISA class action case. Mr. Perryman has one of the first, if not the first, defense jury verdicts in Missouri (2008) as lead trial counsel under the new lower causation standard for Missouri Human Rights Act cases. He also spends a significant amount of time counseling clients on compliance with federal and state employment issues. As a well respected attorney in the Firm, Mr. Perryman is a member of the Firm’s Management Committee and the Firm’s Recruiting Committee.
Mr. Perryman received his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Westminster College.
