Aaron L. Pawlitz works for Fortune 500 companies, family-owned businesses, individuals, and not-for-profit entities in a wide range of industries, including information technology, health care, life sciences, education, insurance, manufacturing, construction, education, consumer products, and charitable activities. He advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities and bond finance offerings, real estate and equipment transactions, franchise and other distribution agreements, and complex commercial negotiations.
 
Mr. Pawlitz counsels clients daily on complex strategic transactions and on routine business matters. He frequently is engaged to structure new business and not-for-profit entities and to advise clients on business start-up issues. In connection with this work, he is a resource for his clients on employment, litigation, intellectual property, internal investigation, tax, and other regulatory matters.
 
Among the many clients Mr. Pawlitz serves is a global data services provider for whom, since 2005, he has served as the primary counsel for all U.S. office leasing, construction, and energy acquisition matters. Also, since 2008, he has served as the primary counsel for all corporate and commercial matters for a global manufacturer and distributor of environmentally-friendly consumer products.
 
Mr. Pawlitz is licensed to practice law in Missouri, in Illinois, and before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
