Legal Secretary
We are interviewing candidates for a Legal Secretary position in our Bankruptcy Department. Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, time entry and document management systems is required. A typing speed of 70+ wpm, transcription, and a minimum of two years legal secretarial experience is also required. Qualified candidates will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, possess excellent grammar and proofreading skills and have strong organizational/filing skills. In addition, successful candidates will be willing to assist other team members on long-term projects or urgent deadlines. The hours of the position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Software Support Specialist
As a member of our Help Desk team, the hired candidate will answer Help Desk calls and e-mails from attorneys and staff, using both remote access to users’ computers and face to face visits to users’ computers. While basic knowledge of hardware and network issues are a plus, this position focuses mainly on software-related issues. As a result, strong knowledge of Office 2003/2007 Suite (particularly Microsoft Word), SharePoint 2007, Document Management Systems, and Windows XP or Windows 7, including application integration required. The hired candidate will also provide software training to attorneys and staff. Previous experience in a help desk or training environment as well as excellent phone and communication skills are also required. Furthermore, successful candidates should be interested in expanding their knowledge of the above software programs and/or other specialized IT products used by the firm. The hours of the position are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. In addition, Help Desk team members rotate weekly assignments as extended hours Help Desk support.
