We believe that proper counseling of a client in a dispute must include active consideration of alternatives to lawsuits. Alternative Dispute Resolution techniques have become increasingly incorporated into traditional litigation practice. Our lawyers regularly represent clients in mediations and arbitrations, as well as other dispute resolution processes such as Early Neutral Evaluations, Mini-Trials or Summary Trials.
In addition, several of our lawyers serve as qualified mediators, arbitrators and equivalent neutrals for the American Arbitration Association, United States Arbitration and Mediation, as well as for dispute resolution programs administrated by Federal and State Courts.
Our firm has been a long-standing signatory to the Center for Public Resources, Inc. (CPR) law firm policy statement on alternatives to litigation. CPR is comprised of leading law firms and corporations throughout the United States.
